In an attempt that Google claims is to help speed up the web, they have introduced today Google Public DNS. An “enhanced” DNS service aimed at providing a faster web experience through faster DNS resolution and better security. Here’s something kinda interesting. Google will send out one free holiday card for you this holiday season. The holiday card designs obviously integrate Gmail in some way, and are a way to promote their service. I would probably not send a Gmail holiday card to my mother, but it’s an interesting concept and the geek in your life might appreciate it. Google did something resembling this...
